On Friday, December 17th, 2021, the Petro team in Poughkeepsie, NY visited the Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse (CPCA) with some very huggable companions, bringing along more than 100 stuffed animals for distribution to children in need.

CPCA provides child and family support, addressing the epidemic of child abuse through prevention services and education. Its vision is to end child abuse by providing parents and families with the tools and knowledge to create safe, caring and nurturing environments for their children.

The Petro Poughkeepsie ‘Bear Brigade’ enjoyed sharing their office space with these cuddly friends until delivery day arrived and the CPCA was very appreciative of the number of stuffed animals the Petro team were able to donate. These snuggly friends will now be there to help children with the comfort they need when they need it most.
